Course Outline For Certified Scrum Product Owner Training

1. Scrum Basics

Learning Objectives: Learn the fundamentals of Scrum including the core components, vocabulary, and principles that drive the Scrum work culture. Articulate the significance of Scrum artifacts, roles, and events, and identify and apply appropriate Scrum processes within their organization's framework for the success of a Scrum project.

  • Understand the Scrum Flow, the core components of the Scrum framework, and the Scrum vocabulary
  • Understand the principles/legs of empirical process control.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Learning Objective: Learn about the different Scrum roles and the reasoning on which they are based. Gain a deep understanding of the various Scrum roles and the underlying rationale that informs their design and purpose within the Scrum framework.

  • Understand the scope of the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the team role in detail.

3. Product Vision

Learning Objectives:  Get an insight into product vision and its ideal qualities, the prep work required, and how it relates to the product roadmap. Learn to unify teams with a clear product vision, understand its key qualities, minimize preparatory efforts, and appreciate its role in shaping a cohesive product roadmap.

4. Estimating
