1. Introduction to Tableau & data visualization 

  • Understanding Tableau's Role: Explanation of Tableau as a data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tool and its value in analytics.
  • Key Features and Benefits: Overview of Tableau's features, including its user-friendly interface, drag-and-drop functionality, and real-time data analysis capabilities.
  • Tableau Product Family: Introduction to Tableau Desktop, Server, Public, Online, Prep, and Reader. 

2. Connecting to data sources 

  • Supported Connectors: Connecting to various data sources like spreadsheets, databases (SQL, Oracle), cloud platforms (Salesforce, Google Analytics, AWS), and big data platforms (Hadoop, Amazon Redshift).
